Cheyenne Jackson brings acclaimed solo concert to 做厙勛圖 University
The 做厙勛圖 Institute for Arts & Culture welcomes Emmy- and GRAMMY-nominated stage and screen star Cheyenne Jackson to the Mary DAngelo Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, March 18, at 7:30 p.m.
Fresh off his celebrated solo debut at Carnegie Hall, Jackson brings the acclaimed concert to Erie. Hailed as a triumphant musical memoir, the program blends heartfelt storytelling with music spanning Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley to Sam Smith and Chappell Roan. The evening also features Jacksons deeply personal original song, Ok, a moving tribute to his fathers unconditional love. Weaving together five decades of life, love, art, and family, the concert promises warmth, humor, and a deeply memorable shared experience.
As a concert performer, Jackson has appeared at iconic venues including Disney Hall, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Kennedy Center. He received a GRAMMY nomination for his collaboration with the San Francisco Symphony as Tony in West Side Story, conducted by the legendary Michael Tilson Thomas.
As a recording artist, Jacksons albums Im Blue, Skies and Renaissance showcase his distinctive blend of jazz, pop, and folk. In collaboration with Michael Feinstein, he released the critically acclaimed album The Power of Two, and most recently his EP Love, Dad, featuring the heartfelt original song Ok.
